B&B KIT

The B&B CNC kit is really well done, so well done that the boat started going together straight out of the crate. Day one and one bulkhead was glued up and drying. It is super easy to see where each part goes, and exactly how they line up. The lumber is precision cut and numbered, so nicely cut I have not even had to sand edges before the epoxy and clamps are applied. I can not even guess at the hours of detail measuring and cutting the kit has saved me. I no longer feel far behind in the build race, as large pieces of boat are glued up every day or so.

The down side, I does take a month and a half or so from placing the order, to get the kit and lumber. And it is not free, more like $7000USD by the time it arrives at your door.

The upside the saved countless hours of measuring, transferring and cutting. And no guess work, if it does not fit, it is in the wrong place. When you proudly tell someone you built your own boat, they are not going to ask if you sourced/cut every piece of wood your self. I rather be a sailer than be a lumberjack I guess.

As the pictures show, the CNC kit is very easy to follow/build.
